Popflow FAQs

Popflow FAQs

Everything you want to know — clear, honest, and a little bit Popflow.

General

What is Popflow?

Popflow is not your average studio—it’s movement reimagined. We blend yoga, pilates, sculpt, and stretch into classes that hit the sweet spot between sweat, strength, and recovery. Think of us as your fitness playground, where the music’s loud, the vibe is high-energy, and the instructors are part coach, part hype squad, and part wizard. You’ll leave stronger, lighter, and probably grinning.

Do I need experience?

Nope. You bring the body, we’ll bring the options. Every class is designed with levels for beginners, athletes, and everyone in between. If you’re new, Flow: All Levels or Pilates: Core is a great on-ramp. Want to test your grit? Sculpt or HIIT will get you there. Our instructors are pros at scaling things up or down so you feel challenged but never lost.

What should I bring?

Bring a mat (rentals available), water, and a towel—you’ll need it. We provide props like blocks, bands, weights, and balls. Pilates folks often like grippy socks, but they’re optional. Dress in clothes you can sweat and move in (no jeans, trust us). Most important: bring your energy and leave your distractions outside.

How early should I arrive?

For a smooth start, arrive 10 minutes before class. First-timers, come 15 minutes early so we can give you a quick tour, answer questions, and get you set up without stress. Classes start on time and the doors close once the music starts—late arrivals can’t join.

Do you offer intro specials?

Yes! We’ve got intro packs so you can try out multiple classes at a reduced price. It’s the best way to get a feel for Flow, Sculpt, Pilates, and Stretch before you commit. Current deals are listed on our pricing page.

Do you play music?

Always. The playlist is the heartbeat of class. Expect bass drops in Sculpt, smooth beats in Flow, mellow vibes in Stretch. We match the music to the workout so you’ll move to the rhythm without even thinking about it.

Do you offer private or corporate sessions?

Yes. From birthday Sculpt throwdowns to office team-building yoga, we host private events in-studio or off-site. Reach out to book your own Popflow experience.

Classes & Studio Experience

Are classes heated?

Sometimes, but not sauna-style. Studios are kept slightly warm (75–85°) to keep your body safe and help you sweat productively. Enough to boost mobility and intensity—not enough to knock you out.

How long are classes?

Classes are 60 minutes. Specialty workshops may run longer—check the schedule.

How big are the classes?

Classes are large enough for group energy, but small enough for instructors to know your name and coach your form. You’ll feel the vibe of the room without being lost in the crowd.

Do I need to sign up in advance?

Yes. Classes often sell out, especially at prime times. Reserve through our app or website to guarantee your spot. Walk-ins are welcome if space is available, but don’t count on it.

What’s your late policy?

Doors close right at class start time. Late arrivals aren’t admitted. It’s about safety, focus, and respect for everyone who made it on time. Show up early—you’ll thank yourself.

Do you have showers and lockers?

No showers, but we’ve got clean restrooms and open cubbies for your stuff. Keep it simple and leave valuables at home.

How does the waitlist work?

Join the waitlist if class is full. If a spot opens, the system automatically moves you in and alerts you.

What if I’m injured or need modifications?

Always tell your instructor before class. We’ll give you options to modify or swap movements so you can keep moving safely. Whether you’re scaling back or avoiding certain moves, we’ll help you stay in the flow. If you’re recovering from injury, check with your doctor first.

Can I do Popflow if I’m pregnant?

Yes—with your doctor’s approval. Most of our classes can be modified for pregnancy. Let your instructor know and they’ll guide you through safe alternatives.

How intense are the workouts?

Intensity is what you make it. Sculpt and HIIT will leave you breathless and dripping. Flow and Pilates are sneaky—they build strength and stability without feeling frantic. Stretch is your recovery zone. Every class has modifications to dial it up or down.

Membership, Pricing & Policies

How do memberships work?

Choose from prepaid or autopay options. Membership perks include unlimited classes, early booking windows, guest passes, retail and workshop discounts, and more. No gimmicks, no fine print—just value.

Do class packs expire?

Yes. Drop-ins = 30 days, 10-packs = 6 months, 20-packs = 12 months, 50-packs = 12 months. Expiration dates are firm—we don’t extend them, so plan accordingly.

What if I late cancel or no-show?

Cancel more than 4 hours before class and you’re fine. Cancel later and you’ll lose your credit (or be charged $10 if you’re on unlimited). No-shows count the same. It keeps things fair for everyone waiting for a spot.

Can I freeze or pause my membership?

Yes. You can freeze once per year at no cost.

Do you offer discounts?

Yes. Students, military, first responders, and seniors get discounted rates. Bring valid ID or email us and we’ll set you up.

Do you accept ClassPass?

Yes, but members get more: better rates, early booking, and extra perks. ClassPass is like a first date. Membership is the relationship.

Do you sell gift cards?

Yes. Gift Popflow to friends or family—available online or in-studio.

Etiquette & Studio Culture

Respect the flow.

Be on time, stay for the full class, and ride the group energy without distraction.

Unplug.

We recommend phones, watches, and outside distractions stay out of the studio. Give yourself one hour away from the world. If you have to have your phone because you're a VIP, it should be silenced and face down.

Clean up.

Wipe down your mat, props, and weights. It’s common courtesy—nobody wants your sweat but you.

Light chatter only.

Chat before class, connect after, but during class keep it focused. We’re here to move.

Make space.

Be mindful of mat placement and respect personal space. Your neighbor’s savasana is sacred.

No shoes on the floor.

This is a barefoot zone. Socks are fine, but leave shoes in the cubbies.

Positive vibes only.

Encouragement and high fives are currency here. Negative energy gets left at the door.

Be scent aware.

Skip heavy perfumes and sprays—keep the studio air fresh and breathable for everyone.
